Welcome to My Website!
Hi! I'm Jessica Walker Sanchez, and I'm a current student at the University of Michigan-Flint. At UM-F I'm studying Computer and Information Systems, with a concentration in Web and Mobile Information Systems. I plan to graduate in 2014.
I'm also a graduate of the Library and Information Science Program at Wayne State University. I completed my Master of Library and Information Science degree in May of 2008. While at school I was the president of Student Organizations of Library and Information Science (SOLIS), was awarded 7 scholarships, and completed a Master Level Certification in Microsoft Office.
My concentration at Wayne State was Information Science, which allowed me to find an amazing job with Kettering University in Flint, Michigan. Here I am able to use my technology skills make our virtual and physical library as tech-savvy and student-centered as possible. I also get to use my skills in collection development and reference services so that the information needs of the faculty, staff, and students at Kettering are thoroughly satisfied.
